A daily dose of vicarious crafting
Meet Kate! The lovely little “kitten in britches” as she’s described by creator Jess Hutchison. Yep, that same Jess Hutch who makes those rad knit robots. Good luck tracking that pattern down though, its long out of print… Any way back to the pattern for Kate. If you’re an avid knitty reader, you know this pattern has been around a while, and it’s been on my back burner for just as long. I really just love everything about her. From her little striped top to her cute little “britches.” I think it might be time to upgrade this to “current project” status. :)
I started this blog after I realized that I spend way more time looking at crafty things than making crafty things, a practice I’ve dubbed crafterbation. I wanted create an outlet to share all the great crafty things I find that I would love to make, if only I had the time and the motivation to actually complete them. When the mood strikes and I do actually make something, you can read about that here as well.

Rae! I JUST saw your comment on my blog. I had no idea it was there. Kate is adorable, and we should do some crafting, or bike riding. Woot!
