A daily dose of vicarious crafting
This rad scraf is by Kajsa of syko, a remarkable designer from Finland. I love the combination colors and patterns she chose for the bird appliqués, and how they contrast with the grey jersey material she used for the scarf. Plus this is exactly the kind of scarf that I can totally still pull off in San Diego, because it’s so lightweight. Perfect for those “chilly” nights.*
* I still have to force myself to remember that 50°F is not cold, and was considered warm for the most part when I lived in Ohio.
I started this blog after I realized that I spend way more time looking at crafty things than making crafty things, a practice I’ve dubbed crafterbation. I wanted create an outlet to share all the great crafty things I find that I would love to make, if only I had the time and the motivation to actually complete them. When the mood strikes and I do actually make something, you can read about that here as well.

Haha, the same goes for me, being a Floridian! I am constantly having to find excuses for myself to wear a scarf, and then by midday, it is scorching outside and the fashion accessory becomes a catalyst for possible heat stroke. This one is just so spiffy! I would gladly die of heat stroke for it =)
